Sinogas has placed an order for three 25,000 cbm and four 41000 cbm dual fuel ammonia gas carrier from Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Company Limited in China. The vessels will be delivered from 2026.

In the meantime, Sinogas have signed agreements with Trammo for the long-term charter of 1 handy 25,000 CBM and 2 upto 4 mid-size 41,000 CBM newbuild vessels. 

These vessels will be powered by WinGD’s dual fuel ammonia engines, equipped with 3 Type A liquid cargo tanks and 2 deck tanks, the design temperature is minus 50 degrees Celsius, can load two kinds of cargoes at the same time, and has ammonia refilling ready function.

With leading design, green environmental protection and high efficiency and energy saving, these vessels will be equipped with additional eco features such as shaft generators and paints produced using the latest technology to improve hydrodynamic efficiency and lower fuel consumption.
